We are looking for a Network Technician for an authority within electrical power.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Substitute for a parental leave technician. The role of Infrastructure Specialist involves developing new capabilities and functions, ensuring the operational management of the network infrastructure, routing/switching environments, and the office network, as well as realizing the management plan in collaboration with the management team. The Infrastructure Specialist coordinates and organizes decided management activities.

Responsibilities

Manage incidents & problems: analyze and resolve issues and incidents, assist in the development of instructions, in collaboration with 24/7 system monitoring.

Specialist: act as a specialist, primary contact for system-specific questions, provide general support and assistance to other systems, operations, and external parties.

Implement changes: manage orders according to processes, implement system changes and upgrades according to the IT change process.

Requirements specification: assist in technical requirements specification and the development of new technical solution proposals for new or further development of systems and IT services.

Testing: contribute to functional testing, troubleshooting, and further development of systems, applications, and IT services.

Documentation: ensure good management documentation such as network diagrams, system documentation, and operational routines.

IT security: work with IT security issues to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability according to IT security requirements.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

At least one of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE.

At least 2 years of work experience in the last 5 years as a network technician, working in a medium to large network environment, with at least 5000 users and at least 10 sites.

At least 2 years of work experience in high availability environments.

Preferred

At least 2 of the following certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or similar.

At least 2 years of experience in network automation. Ansible, Python, Catalystcenter, or equivalent tools.

At least 1 year of practical experience in lifecycle management of central infrastructure.

At least 1 year of experience working with systems for classified or security-sensitive information.
